  1. Crouchy needs full games, the perfect example is when he comes on as a sub after an hour, he can't settle into the game and is ineffective. He needs to get a feel for the game. He is more of a threat than Kuyt who really needs to pull his socks up in the goalscoring department.
  2. Edmar looks a nifty little player. Metalist are knocking it around so easily.
  3. Garbage. Not worth the £36 entry fee. The only 'tiny' positive I can take out of tonight is that it wasn't a Premiership game... We can't even put a few passes together. We have no urgency. Where is this so called width? Our team just looks like 10 fellas thrown together randomly off the street. I expect a big performance on Sunday to make up for tonight which was very very disappointing.
  4. John Riise has shiny boots. Thats all he offers us in my opinion.
  5. Anyone watch the post match analysis in the studio after the Everton game? Keys was unbearable. Kissing Fat Sam's a***, buttering him up no end, and asking Fat Sam how many percent of goals in the Premiership come from set pieces because of course Sam would know - he said something along those lines. Then Keys was trying to get all 'technical' by asking probing questions to Sam as to why teams find it more difficult playing away from home, he even gave him a few minutes to think about the question while they passed down to Geoff Shreeves for a Moyes interview. The way Keys asks the most obvious questions to guests to try and get all technical is cringey. When you mix him with the likes of Fat Sam he's bad, just watch when he's with Gullit or Souness!
  6. Petrov's run and cross for Mpenza's goal was total class yesterday. I like the look of him.
  7. Koffi is one of the best talents in the country in his age range and is highly rated by many. I'm delighted we have got him. This Bruna lad sounds decent too.
  8. The ref did well yesterday, no complaints.
  9. The simple fact is that the team we sent out today should have beaten Birmingham comfortably. We just looked so unorganised, its like the 11 players were just thrown on the pitch, with no preparation at all. Kuyt infuriates me, he goes in for every tackle, header and never pulls any of them off but is still credited for his hard work...
  10. I'm sure Rafa will be keen to wave him off...
  11. The ITV pundits were fine tonight, we weren't exactly giving them overflowing good performances for them to rave over. All of the ITV team agreed it was a good result for us considering all the factors so I find it hard to see why people getting so angry about it.
  12. I thought the exactly the same Mike when I spotted it on the main site! Had to double check to make sure I wasn't seeing things...
  13. Seeing Mourinho throwing the portable TV monitor to the floor, like a baby throwing the dummy out of the pram, was an absolute delight.
  14. Merson today was saying we'd be in a bad state if we lost Gerrard and Carragher through injury for a long period in the season, and that Man Utd and Chelsea would be fine which is turd because Chelsea would suffer big time without Drogba and Terry, and as we have seen with United, they have missed Ronaldo and Rooney. He's no nothing fool.
  15. Sunderland are winning 2-0, Reading may have a struggle this season, as will Bolton who are losing again, away at Brum. Dram scorelines for Coppell and Sammy Lee them. West Ham beating Boro 3-0, why don't Boro just arrive at the ground and agree on a defeat and go home? Totally useless team. West Ham will go to 10 points, same games as us, going to be close near the top of the league tonight.

Hopefully the footy injury he suffered today won't be too serious. He sat in the dugout for the rest of the match, instead of going to the dresing room with the physio so fingers crossed.
  17. 3-1 Adebayor. Could be the last we see of Jol...
  18. £17m striker Darren Bent misses a great chance...
  19. Bloody hell, both United and Arsenal getting the late winners...
  20. Pepe Finnan Agger
  21. We were lucky to get a draw out of that. Credit to Pepe. The only thing that got me angry during the game was that Pompey were winning every bloody ball, we were too scared to put our foot in. It was always going to be a tough game especially after the International break.
  22. Lampard cannot touch the England team after these last 2 games. Englands midfield looks the best it has in years because of the partnership Gerrard and Barry have struck up. Barry was really on form tonight, cracking player - I wouldn't be surprised if some of the top 4 clubs go in for him in January or next Summer.
