The thing with Kuyt is that he never gets it done. He runs around like a headless chicken but how many tackles does he actually win? He hardly wins any. He has no pace, and his control is so sloppy that there isn't much he can do for us. We really suffer with him in the team.

Kuyt was garbage. He should have made it 2-0 and put the game away. He just hasn't got it, he needs to be shown the door before anyone else.

No Torres means Andy Gray can get his teeth into Rafa's selections and question why Rafa doesn't start the boy Torres more regularly.

Will Sami get his contract extended for another season? He is playing superbly and he always does a good job for us.

Exactly and because he doesn't pick it, he rotates players out of form so the best 11 is a myth in our case. He'll throw a surprise in for Arsenal, I have a feeling he'll throw Lucas in the mix...

Yeah, the charge down the line beating the two men was great, something we haven't seen in a while. Pennant couldn't get going tonight though, just failed to get past the man and knock it in. Babel is better on the right though in my opinion. I thought Rafa may have tried Babel up front for a bit as we needed a bit of pace down the middle.

I like Voronin. He has scored goals and has put in some great performances. He does more than Kuyt in my opinion, who I think isn't the player we thought we had signed...

Yeah, and with Agger, one of his best skills is to bring the ball out and give it to Stevie and Xabi and open up play. Carra and Sami just pass to themselves, a bit wary of where to play the ball.

Picking players for this so far this season has been a major headache.

I'd say Agger as we look so shakey at the back, its unreal. Our team is used to having a solid back line to rely on and we got caught out so many times tonight because of pace.

I agree Wayne. We just have no pattern to our play at all. We can't turn it on like the Mancs and Arsenal can. Our play is just bits and pieces, we don't play consistently good football for the duration of a match. We gave away the ball too much tonight. We only looked dangerous when Benayoun came on and passed it around, and it was obvious they were scared of Crouch. We are playing in first gear at the moment and our defence looks a shambles.

I think Rafa will be secretly pleased with this, as he didn't start and anyway, Babel wouldn't do it on Rafa's watch.

It'll probably be another month to be honest mate (for both Agger and Xabi).

I have been a big fan of the Voronator since the start of the season and today he put in his best performance in a red shirt. How can Kuyt get in the team ahead of him? He does what Kuyt does and more (and better!)
