Who would you loan Gonzales to in the Premiership, I am struggling to find a team where he would cement a first team place. Not been arsey just interested in where you think he would add value to a team.

What I think he is trying to do is get players in to fill positions where he does not want to be spending money on. This will free up money to purchase the more expensive acquisitions such as centre forwards, attacking midfielders etc. What does anyone else think?

The spine of the team is good, but Finnan and Riise are not good enough to win the league. Pennant and Gonzales are not good enough for a top 10 team, we need to stop buying squad players. Someone made a point of us buying squad players for the last 10 years, when are we going to sign players who are good enough to stake a claim every week. Middlesbrough are a very poor, very poor team and should have been dealt with comfortably today. Where do we go from here, because make no bones about it when Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal win at Anfiled are home record will be nothing to shout about.
