The matter is how much we can salvage. The Club should be commended for taking the bulls by the horn and rectifying them. Our squad now is in a much much better shape.

This. As said, Comolli earning his crust this window. I am even more impressed by his ability to shift players surplus to requirement, though no doubt we might be subsidizing some of those wages to get the bums moving.

That is a testimony to his creative prowess, that he creates so many chances, rather than clinical finishing. Still a genius with that one weakness in his game.

You'd think he's a smallish player the way he plays - the close control, feints, turn of pace, agility etc - when in fact he's 5 ft 11. We have a real player in our hands! He'll make it a lot easier for Carroll. Can't wait :cooler:
