Was just thinking the other day that I've never seen a photo of Sami Hyypia with the European Cup after the game in Istanbul. I tried to find one on Google but could only see one from the press conference before the match. Some would have wrapped the Finnish flag around their waist and jumped to the front of the podium even if they hadn't been on the pitch! but it says it all about the man that a photo of him parading the European Cup has been so hard to find. Absolute Legend. Anyway if anyone has one I'd love to see it.

NO Most managers go through a period like this, but if you've got a great manager then you stick with him as the fans have been doing. Let's just hope that things off the field turn in his favour, as he's been hindered more than helped in recent seasons.

I love Rafa, but it's worrying how in every game we look so bereft of ideas that unless Gerrard or Bennynoon produce something, then you can't see a threat coming from anywhere else. Hopefully Aquilani will give us a bit more creativity and get things moving again. Think he would have been better off starting today than at Goodison though.

There is no way Lucas was outstanding. He dawdled on the ball a lot, and those clumsy free kicks he keeps giving away are so frustrating.

I came on hear tonight worried about what some of the more fickle supporters might be saying about Rafa, and worrying that unrest might be growing against him when it's the owners that their anger should be being turned against. But that is quality mate - Well said!

Rafa is the only person in control of our club at the moment that I have any faith in. He is in keeping with the best traditions of this club and the only one at the moment I feel I can trust. If he was to leave then the nightmare scenario we all dread with the current owners in charge becomes a lot more likely.
