  1. He can do but he's not very good. Oh do you mean Kronkamp?
  2. Those faces in the background make it all worthwhile.
  3. It was originally going to be a free transfer but Josemi pushed his way to the front of the negotiations
  4. He's right though
  5. There are only 63 points left on offer for us. The most we can finish with is 100

  7. On the replay of Cisse's goal you can see Gerrard wheel away to the right (with CIsse heading to the left to celebrate) past the Everton fans behind the goal, before turning around and sprinting over to the other celebrating players.
  8. How long can you leave the car there? The ASDA down in Brighton that I used to work at, only let people have a car in the car park for 2 hours before a £25 ticket was left gleefully on the windscreen.
  9. Ah ok thanks, that might be an idea as well.
  10. Obviously showing a total lack of competence by missing that important press conference. Sack Parry!
  11. Driving up from Brighton mate, and no huge rush to get home, but we'll likely leave straight from the match, so I can get home and half a few beers before midnight.
  12. And the second best place? Posts merged: Ah excellent, thanks mate.
  13. Maybe he was refering to how many seconds it took, to leave Weir flat on his a***.
  14. The last time I drove up to Anfield was for last seasons home game against Fulham, but I seem to remember hearing that since then the no parking areas around Anfield have been extended. I'm driving up for the West Brom game on Saturday, and was wondering if thats still the case. Where are the best places to leave the car now? Also how close to Anfield is Liverpool train station, I might be picking someone up on the way through.
  15. Thats the thing though. We can look at the games against Pompey and Newcastle, and say yes, we outclassed them and they were s***. Tonight we can say we outplayed them, but the opposition just weren't... anything. That wasn't Everton out there, I don't know who it was, but it wasn't them. I remember Everton at least having a bit of anger about them, but it was just huff and puff and then resignation. Don't get me wrong, its performances and attitudes like that which will send them down, but it was still a bit of a shock.
  16. Can't help but feel Nunez gets a bit of a raw deal in these discussions. Ok he wasn't exactly in the same class as Owen, but he wasn't that bad. He was a stopgap and he did his job. We wouldn't have won the European Cup Without him.
  17. Yep, an important skill Yobo shouldn't have flinched away from it mind you.
  18. Then it was definitely rubbish.
  19. You really think he'll walk? I'm not sure if I can see it myself. I still think he believes he can turn it round. I'll be honest, I was concerned about the game tonight, I've seen to many Derby games where we don't get anything out of it, but tonight was really odd. I've not seen an Everton side looking so languid and poor against us in... well ever. There's always been a bit of belief there and the desire to kick us all very hard, but tonight it wasn't. Watching Moyes post match comments tonight, where he said he was pleased with the effort etc, I was just struck with the impression, that the only way he'll leave is if he's sacked. Moyes is starting to strike me more, and more like Houllier. He did the buisness for you last season, but he has taken you as far as he can and doesn't quite (or isn't willing to) realise that yet. As a result the Everton support seems to be polarising between Pro and Anti Moyes. I think the only way he'll go is if he's sacked.
  20. On the closing titles they showed Reina when Crouchy scored. He went mental cheering and sliding across the grass. Now he needs to get back into the training nets and make sure he doesn't concede anymore for another 9 league games.
  21. I wouldn't. We need Sami for the West Brom game and the Bolton game. If neccessary, I'm sure Rafa will give him the day off against Luton.
  22. Manager and Player of the Month? If we beat West Brom, I can't see any possible reason why Rafa shouldn't pick up a second consecutive Manager of the Month award, and both Crouch and Gerrard have been outstanding throughout December.
  23. Good stuff. Hell of a goal that first one, and the left backs pass for the equaliser was rubbish.
  24. He was excellent tonight, and his goal absolutely oozed class. Everton didn't have the faintest idea what to do about him. Weir couldn't make up his mind whether to dive in or stand him up, and in the end did neither and got talen out of the game. Cisse's finish was then sublime.
  25. It was a bit bizarre at first. We didn't really seem to do anything and suddenly we were 2-0 up. It's the measure of a team to win games when you play badly, but we weren't playing badly, we were just playing and the goals flowed. Everton's long balls for Kilbane against Finnan were a worry, but Cisse's goal absolutely killed them, it was fantastic. Roll on March, so we can thump them at Anfield.
