  9. Personally for me, we have a fantastic spine to the team with plenty of options but need to address the wide areas, looking at what we have and going for a 4-4-2 hoping gerrard and babel could stay more disciplined out wide than benayoun and Kuyt , i'd pick :- ---------------Reina-------------------- arbeloa -- carra -- agger -- dossena gerrard -- alonso -- masch -- babel -----------Torres -- Keane------------- subs :- skrtl, kuyt, riera, benayoun, ngog, aurelio, cavalieri Would maybe give us a bit more balance i feel , but hell what do i know, i don't think thats too bad a team. Just really looking forward to the day we can say bye to Hicks and Gillett but thought i'd do a formation thread to lighten the mood.
  10. I'm speculating as to who commissioned the plans to be drawn up for a new shared stadium, but the architect plans are complete, this i know as a fact. Like i say, it could be nothing, but it would be interesting to find out who has funded this.
  11. Don't usually post much about these things but..heard from a good source earlier that architect plans have been completed for a shared stadium, who comissioned them i don't know but i am pushing to find out. I hope these two chuckle brothers don't think they can get away with groundshare.

  14. i was right on top of that save in extra time. Shevchenko knew he had scored, he fuvkin' laced it,it was not a half hearted efforted from inside the six yard box, Dudek knew it was in - he dived to save it, it hit his hand as he threw it towards the ball and it flew off in the most unlikley trajectory i've ever seen. It was like for one moment given the build up too, that there was no way the ball was going into the Liverpool net- honestly it was the most incredible thing i've ever seen in my life (i'm not religious but that whole night was a weird experience)- i was right next to the shot and it was unsaveable - it was fvckin in, and even then if he had got a hand to it, it was either going inside the post or into the roof of the net , not over the fvckin' bar !!! Miracles happen,it's mad, we assisted, but it happened.

  18. Is it just me or is everyone else now reading this thread in an Irish accent ?
  19. Get in there Robbie lad, welcome to Liverpool ! and yer missus !!
  20. Fair enough and some valid points, i just can't see why they are looking to replace the fancards of members to the new scheme if there aren't any plans to change ticketing arrangements. I'm also concerned that a member of SOS has been told by the ticket office manager that £3.50 fancards will be phased out after next season.
  21. Is it ever any other way with our ticket office ?
  22. I don't think i'm jumping the gun, lf the club want us to sign up to the new £29 per year card, if all they are offering as an incentive to do this is a definite place on the seasie waiting list a ticket exchange and some tat in a box then the take up is going to be stupidly low, there has to be something else they have up there sleeve here, to me the logical conclusion of the way this will go is via ticket sales cascading as follows :- Season Tickets, £29 Fancard Holders, £3.50 Fancard Holders, General Sale. Eventually the £3.50 cards will be worthless because whilst the club are saying they will record loyalty on it the chances of actually getting a ticket to have this loyalty recorded will be next to nil. If the club can't come out with a definite statement of what there intentions are then people are of course going to assume the worst, and so they should.
  23. whoa, can i have your job ?
