  1. I smell a good conspiracy theory here somewhere. It has to include Cissè, obviously, but I'll trow inn SWP, Victor and Paletta as well.
  2. A perfectly good transfer rumour crushed by facts....you're right, there's some rules to concider when you change clubs more often than I change my underwear.
  3. I like Traore. If Rafa thiks he's s.hit, he wouldn't give him a new contract last summer. Of course he isn't in Sami or Carra's class, but then, who is?
  4. So, apart from S** and Reebok, do anyone have the complete Boycott-list?

    Cisse

Definetly a possible yes! He scores goals, for christs sake

    Alonso

my favourite player, just shading Carra. His presence on the field makes me think of God. Not the Fowler one
  7. I f****n hate Chelsea, and this was as sweet as the sweetest revenge. I get upset justbseeing those tw*ts on telly.
  8. I'm so happy for Kewell. This time last year i had totally written him off, and today he made (their right back wich name has escaped me) his bitch. He totally humiliated him at will. Carnage!!!(eh?)
  9. Raaaaaaaffaaaaa hail
  10. As much as I hope this ain't gonna happen, this is way better than THaksin Shinawatra. Only Kraft is better. These guys don't have the money requiered to keep us competing. Wibledon ll?
  11. is there a point to all this?
  12. I know I'm silly, but i still think Cisse has a future at LFC. We will not succeed in our hunt for a winger. Besides, he's had a good run of form, and finally some sign of understanding seems to appear in his game
  13. Aurelio / Aguero Aurelio: a target we'll get, therefore a class A player Aguero: not even a target( acc to Rafa) coz' he'll be way out of reach. when it comes to youngsters, we just buy clay that we can form to our own purpose. This Aguero kid scores a lot of goals, and dosn't really fit in the crouch/Moro mould
  14. I like Traore. He's a Champion of Europe. He gets way too much flak in here. Yes, he's done some mistakes, but damn !!! those last ditch takles of his. I swear he'd make it big time in 75% of the premiership teams. Don't know what you've got till it's gone, or something.

  16. And use it to kill off weaker teams on their turf too. Worked pretty well. Though it reminded a lot of 3-4-3 to be honest
  17. Djimi is OK. Not a world beater. Not reserves team material either.- He's a squad player, no more, no less
  18. We have more CB's than spectators among our youth and reserve team matches. If this Aurelio buisness is correct, we have two pretty attacking left backs in Riise and Aurelio, and on the right we have Finnan and Kromkamp. Gonzales has been used as a left back too. It's not like we're going to use the system all the time, I just think that Rafa & Co wants to use the 3-5-2 against lesser teams at home, to brake them down quickly.
  19. I still think that 3-5-2 is a considered option next season
  20. With the number of CB's currently in the squad, the plan could be to use 3 at the back to a larger extent. Finnan, he'll find his place, no worries about that. But as said above, this might be an instrument to kill off weaker teams on our turf
  21. Back 3: Agger , Carra, Paletta (back-up: Hyypiaa and eh... Traore) Mid 5: a speedy guy, Stevie, Momo, Alonso, Gonzales (back up Riise, Zenden, Kewell) Front 2: Owen/Kuyt, anyone who can score on a regular basis (back up Garcia, and a couple of feckers that can score) If I remember correctly, we played this under Evans (Ruddock, Scales, Babb) and discarded it after a couple of years. Anyone think that we might succeed this time. And I'm sorry for doing yet another formation tread, but I don't aim to please
  22. Well, If you wanna win, you have to make money. If you wanna find real sportmanship and idealistic clubs, make a trip to the 60's. What we are witnessing these days, are called evolution or progress (not necessarily the same). The first money-oriented club was the one that discovered that people actually was willing to pay money( or eggs or perhaps a chicken) to watch a game. I see your point. However I don't think that the club decides wether their games will be televised or not.
  23. Isn't rubber or wood cheaper than concrete? we must do something to cut the overall costs. We simply build a new, inflatable arena, use cheap materials, then when it's worn down or torn apart, we move back to Anfield, wich by then is renewed. I don't understand why noone has come up with this idea: We contact that extremely annoying american guy that's on the extreme makeover show. They tear down your house and build a new one while you're at Disneyland or something. Parry can then go to Barbados, to attend some goalkeeping practise for a month or two. Then, when he returns, there's a new stadium with all kinds of coool gadgets!!!
  24. I know, thats why I put the + and - behind unexpected
  25. Of course, if Rafa sold Garcia, we would score even less than this season. That sounds sensible. Not: Garcia is one of the three LFC-players that is 1) capable of hitting the net, and 2) can do the unexpected(+/-).
