This. Carroll was never a M35£-player. We paid extremly over the top for him. Feel sorry for the guy, though. But if we're going to challenge the top teams, we need players who fit OUR way to play.

If it makes you feel better, I've got one of those too....haven't heard anything from him since april. Gylfi...haven't really noticed him, and isolated couldn't give a funk if we got him or not. I'm more worried about our rep amongst players we target.

Totally agree! If I ever met the guy, and got the chance to talk to the guy, i Would just blush and stutter, him thinking "poor ********* fella" of me My love for Xabi makes me wonder about myself. He was my absolute idol. He always is able to say the right things, do the right things ( except once)

If we get that Berguristan / Barca -guy.....maybe he is the most pivotal for the owners 5 year plan, and scan the market for managers in his liking, that can be shaped .

Fans really are divided on the stadium thing, just like the Kenny situation. So the owners will get under pressure any way they decide to go for. It's obvious we need 15 K more audience, but a few years in mediocrity may make it difficult to fill a 60-70 K stadium
