Thanks! It still feels weird being disappointed going out to France in the final 8 in a major competition that's held in France and in a game played at Stade de France. Iceland hasn't looked so week as we did in the first 45min for probably 4 years or so. But we went down fighting and that's all that matters. We'll smite them in the final in Russia in two years time.

France were class. Great team with great individuals. Iceland a class team with good/decent individuals. Pretty much every shot on goal for them went in while we didn't take the chances we though got. Went down fighting. Til Valhallar!

More than a bit unfair probably. Just pissed off because this performance is just so unlike this team. It's probably more just exhaustion due to playing the same players the whole tournament. I was going to say that the smitings would've beginning now but yeah. We're s*** today. Just f***ing s***. We don't concede goals from indirect set pieces like that.

We're in the final 8 on merit. What's happening now is just unacceptable. But France are very very good. Will probably end up winning the whole thing.

We aren't this bad. This looks like the performances of the generation before the current one. Players seem happy to have made it this far. Absolutely s*** attitude and will hopefully be rectified at halftime. TIL VALHALLAR!

I think that's the way it will be. But I still believe we might see a ICE-POR final. Which ends in sad - but fun - #RonaldoTears. Because... ya'know. Karma.

We haven't even started doing that yet! Many of these are for professional fouls or for repeated fouls (I think it's like that). We've yet to go all berserk on the opposition. Maybe we've been saving that for a certain French left back?

As it stands the following players will miss the semifinal if they get booked for Iceland: Kári Árnason, Birkir Bjarnason, Johann Gudmundsson, Aron Gunnarsson, Hannes Halldorsson, Birkir Sævarsson, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Ari Skúlason So "only" 9 out of 11... France go into the game with just two players risking a ban.
