I'm just so f***ing pissed off with everything regarding the club at the moment that I'd for some weird reason enjoy seeing our lads hurt because of their lacklustre performances this season. Maybe some of them would wake up and realise that they want to celebrate like that one day. Now if we aren't good enough to get the results we fans expect the least we can demand is some fight and effort from the players. We've had none of that this season. --- Or I need to up my meds and calm down. But that's no fun.

I think it'd do some of our player good to have to watch the celebrations that would follow Chelsea securing the title against us. And those that couldn't handle it should be sold.

As much as I hated Hodgson I f*cking loved that TAW podcast about his period at the club. I'd like to see a solid and compact 4231 in this game. Something like Mignolet Manquillo Lovren Sakho Flanno/Moreno Lucas Hendo Markovic Coutinho Sterling Sturridge/Balo Based on fitness the choice would be between those separated by /. Do a Rafa:esque compact pressing game and let the three behind the forward constantly change positions with Markovic and Sterling trying to get beyond the forward as often as possible. The fullbacks don't push on but only offer width up to at most the edge of the penalty area. It's possible to change this to a 433 and a 41212 during the game which offers flexibility. Just want us to try something a bit different now.

Agreed. As long as this is acceptable (on the pitch) then we need to do this as well. But the best solution would be to ban any player other than the captain to approach the ref. Saw a few clips from rugby and how refs are treated and respected there. I'm not sure it's always like that but in the few clips I saw at least it seemed like they were treated with respect.

This whole Lampard/City/NYCFC thing sounds a bit corrupt. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/09/manchester-city-error-frank-lampard-new-york-city-fc-deal So, did they cheat the NYCFC supporters who bought tickets and/or did they field an ineligible player for those 15 games that Lampard has played for ManCity? Or will this all be "resolved" by some fancy legal work behind closed doors? Because wouldn't fielding an ineligible player mean that City loses each game he appears in 3-0? (Or have I got this completely wrong? Which is very possible I admit...)
