Sorry for asking this as the Marseille game has only just kicked off but ... I'm a Liverpool fan living in Manchester. Usually I go home to watch this game but can't this Sunday. Does anyone know of any reasonably safe places to watch the game? I'd like to cheer on my team with minimal risk of getting t***tted!! Cheers

I'm predicting a win for the reds to be honest. Maybe this is the season when our Premiership and CL form swap places with each other. Need a win so I can hold my head up high again and give people round here the finger. I live and work in Manchester. Nuff said!

We've been s**** since Pako left. Anyone who dismisses that as a possible reason for unrest amongst players is deluding themselves. The players loved him.

Get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However ... and sorry to pee on our derby parade here .... we should have buried these lot about 5-0. We are not playing well, cant take our chances, Rafa making some bizarre tactical decisions. I hope this isn't all linked to Pako's departure as some have said. Anyway, rant over. We've beaten the blue shoite - crack the beers open and roll on the next game!

Yossi has impressed for sure. Was hoping we'd be another 2 or 3 goals to the good though given the chances we've had. Wouldn't have minded a glimpse at Lucas in the second half.

FFS ! How many years did it take Ginsoak to win the league with United? In those barren years, how many European Cup finals did he take them to? We had a shocking start to this season - if we had avoided that we'd have been challenging the top two. With the new American money available, I trust Rafa to spend wisely and for the reds to be genuine title contenders next season.

Not being a big fan of Kewell myself, I can see where the OP is coming from. However, the opinion may be based on the fact that he didn't offer much last night. Which - being a lad who's just come back from injury into the joint biggest game of his life for only a few minutes - is a bit harsh. Hoping Kewell can stay injury free and impress us all in the first few months of the season. If he doesn't he'll be out in January.

I'm sure I'm not the only Liverpool fan who'd admit that he'd rather see Chelsea winning the treble than United lifting another league or European Cup. The strength of our rivalry with the chavs will dissapear if/when their threat to us does. Our rivalry with United will never end. Just writing this reply makes me hate them even more.

Here here - up there (or should that be 'down there') with Boris Johnston IMHO. On another point that Brian Reade makes - about Mascherano - how do you see his part in the final? Alongside Gerrard or Alonso?

Signed and agree wholeheartedly...though are we lining ourselves up for a barrel load of abuse from mancs who may still play on the Munich anniversary, Bradford fans who may still play on the anniversary of the fire etc etc?
