  1. It wasn't a fluke - we had a genius playing for us with a strong supporting cast in attack and a manager who sensibly built the team around him.
  2. Armenia aren't great shakes either but the lad Utd bought from Dortmund looks decent enough.
  3. What's his nationality got to do with anything?
  4. No way we sell him - the lad is future captain material. He takes responsibility on the pitch.
  5. That would be the team I'd go for too with Firmino playing through the middle and Origi on the right.
  6. money (that's what I want)
  7. whereas buy expensive, and s***?
  8. Besides even if Sturridge was fit I'm not sure he is Klopp's cup of tea and Firmino would still be leading the line.
  9. Neither Henderson nor Lovren were bought for knock down rates.
  10. Mignolet Clyne Matip Klavan Milner Can Lucas Wijnaldum Mane Firmino Coutinho
  11. Its an easy game to be relentlessly negative.
  12. He looks like someone who won a raffle to play blah blah blah
  13. We do badly unless we do well. All bases covered there.
  14. He did. He is the current whipping boy on here so doesn't get the credit he deserves.
  15. Why Origi?
  16. I am well aware of that.
  17. When he first arrived clearly didn't mean his first 100 days but ok you got me - timeline all over the place.
  18. and they guys protecting them - Vieira, Gilberto and the underrated Edu.
  19. To be fair, he signed Campbell and Toure who were the first choice pairing when they through the season unbeaten in 2003-4.
  20. You can see this with Arsenal. When Wenger first arrived they could beat you at football (Bergkamp, Overmars, Henry, Pires etc) but if the fluency wasn't there they also had the power and determination (Adams, Keown, Campbell, Vieira, Gilberto etc) to still grind out results. These days Arsenal are still formidable when the fluency is there (as we were in the autumn) but they don't have the resilience anymore if they are on the back foot. When Leicester got amongst us on Monday night, too few were up for the challenge.
  21. Apart from against Spurs when he was nigh on faultless.
