Cisse is by no means as bad of a player as people are making out to be..But for 14 million pounds he has been a disappointment..I would not blame him or criticize him for not living up to the mark...i am more disappointed with GH/Liverpool scouts who recommended paying 14 million for him... The lad is now short on confidence and when a striker is low on confidence or his mind is not on the game, it is always a woeful sight...remember how mikey owen used to play with drooping shoulders, in his last year...when cisse leaves liverpool and goes to a club whose manager builds his team around him he will score goals..will surprise a few who jumped on his back when he was here..i am sure of that..he will be a good striker...a striker which every team will fear because of his pace...but looking at his touch, dribbling ability i doubt whether he will be a great striker...i doubt if he will be a striker who can produce that bit of magic to win u games when ur getting battered by the opposition( or during an evenly matched game with an opposition)...and thats what great teams need..a striker who can get them out of jail when they are underperforming at some matches.. and when a club like liverpool operating on a limited budget( compared to its peers), wanting to challenge for all major honors on a consistent basis, and with a squad with obvious deficiences- decides to break the bank and make a record signing - I expected him to be better than what Cisse is... I may be expecting unreasonably but when we paid 14 million on a striker I expected him to have the potential to be a henry/ronaldo..a striker who will take our team to the next level..and i honestly cannot see Cisse doing that...I wanted our 14 million record signing striker to show as much promise as our 10.7 Million signing midfielder...or maybe atleast the sort of promise van persie is showing at arsenal...
