If they were definitely going I think there'd be much more firm specuation out there about where they were likely to be off to. We know were Trent is going. I'd still wager good money VVD and Salah end up staying.

I didn't see it but apparently he was saying Salah was finished ahead of the game. Lucky to still get into the team or something. I think he's a United fan. Try to avoid their build up as well, but he's something else when I see him. Really fancies himself as some sort of no-nonsense type, but just thick. Was dismissing Liverpool early in the season, saying we've no chance of the title, getting really annoyed at Damian Delaney being complimentary and saying he thinks we do. We ended up turning around the game and winning and he was f***ing furious. Was splendid.

I record everything so I'll only watch Sky's post game stuff later if we've had a good win. Especially if I want to see the likes of Neville squirm. Don't watch anything before kick off or half-time. Never watch a second of TNT's coverage other than the actual game. Even if we've won 10-0 I've no interest in their analysis. LTS. I saw the lads bringing the stretcher around near the touchline last night and thought he was on it. Was telling my bored wife about how that can't be good news, might be his last game this etc. Then we both looked up to see Trent walking behind the stretcher. Gingerly, yes, but still walking. He wasn't on the bloody stretcher at all

Watched in on Premier TV in ireland. They have all the games that Prime shows in the UK. They have Kenny Cunningham in the studio and he hates Liverpool to an almost comical degree. But the commentary team were decent. Gary Breen sounds like he should be selling fruit on Albert Square, but he's okay. The difference to those TNT c**** was stark. Imagine watching us going out with Rio Ferdinand 'oooohing' in the background.

I think we want the two of them to stay, but maybe not on the same terms and we're hoping they blink first. Hopefully they call the club's bluff and it all gets done. You can't have full mental functionality if you're watching what they're doing this season and not thinking 'f*** we should keep these lads shouldn't we?'.

Defo seems to be something happening with the mics at Anfield. Or the broadcast. Have been a few this season that have sounded flat on tv, even a few in where the he tv team have mentioned it, then I see people on twitter who were there saying it was brilliant, dead loud etc.

He will but no top level club on earth is going to guarantee that with a contract. I just want us to not rely on him so much next year. We need our next attacking overlord in place.

Yeah the elephant in the room is also we need to recruit in a way that allows Salah to not have to play every single game. It’s impossible to contemplate now but you ideally want to have an attack that sometimes picks itself without him, at this stage of his career. He’s carried our attack at times though this season. With his passing ability he’ll have a field day with better, faster lads.

I mean I can’t see him discussing a possible move to PSG with their lads outside the dressing room at Anfield in his flip flops. I still think the club are still hoping the two of them (Trent is different) blink first.
