To be fair, people on here call Gerrard the best midfielder in the world and where was he the other night or in other ' big games ' ? He needed Didi to come on in the 2nd half of the CL to allow him to play and was shyte against Olympiakos until we scored and things were looking better. Gerrard is a quality player, capable of things other central midfielders aren't but i'm still waiting for him to consistently perform in the big games. Both Gerrard and Lampard are good players but overrated.
