My guess is that whilst the money is there, we cannot afford to buy twice, so we wait for the right player. We can't do a city and repeatedly spend £50m on full backs until one succeeds, or do what Chelsea have done with Lukaku

Not really. Looks like Bayern took a punt on him on a bosman as squad cover, then took the profit at first opportunity. Perhaps he wasn't as good as they hoped

No Kelleher or Ramsey. I guess no surprise with the latter as Klopp said he had some sort of injury issue. Anyone heard anything about Kelleher?

Williams. At least 3 there i've never heard of!

I don't underrate anything of Gerrard and agree with everything you have said about him.

I think he's got more ball skill (in a 'tekkers' kind of way, sorry couldn't think of an alternative explanation!), but Gerrard's physical power and drive/will to win would be hard to match

It was me. As Hassony correctly said, I was meaning in terms of his style and potential, the dictating of games at such a young age. He clearly isn't yet peak Gerrard, but then nor was Gerrard at that age
