  1. I can see us getting Navas when Real go out and buy a top quality keeper
  2. I watched Kane at Wembley when we played them earlier this season and his movement off the ball is excellent. I went into that game thinking he was a 3-season wonder and walked out believing that he could go onto be one of the best.

  6. I don’t think Holgate made it up - his reaction seemed genuine and you’ve gotta be the best conman in history to think you can claim hearing something that 5 others did not even though most of them, including the ref, was closer. More likely he misheard or misinterpreted something. OR Bobby did say something but none of us have actually seen the camera angle that confirms it. For the push, he should should get a retrospective 3 match ban. f*** what the rule book says about the ref having seen it. It’s dangerous play and violent conduct. For the tweets, he should get a hefty ban. I don’t care if he was grassed on. You can’t expect to report one form of bigotry in the hope of punishment for the offender if you aren’t judged by the same standard too. Why is it taking so f***ing long for the FA to wrap up the Firmino part. He wants to be in Dubai right now
  7. Is it possible the matter has been cleared up between the players (see Maddock's article) but, because the matter had to be reported in the ref's report, due process still has to be undertaken?
  8. Fair point. But, as already pointed out (Cobs?), it could have been the other way around, i.e. if you want him now, we’re going to charge you a premium. Also, I do think we’re underestimating how much Klopp wanted him to go. I remember back in august when he made a comment in a press conference along the lines of “it’s the owners that make decision” and we all assumed that meant the decision to sell (and he wanted to keep him) but it could just as well have meant the decision to keep him... Si Hughes article seems to suggest he would rather have let him go.
  9. Except holding onto him for a further half a season and still driving the price up Exactly. He may not run up and down the pitch as much but he'd be perfect for "Gegenpressing":
  10. I don't understand why this is a bad thing. On the one hand, people are crucifying FSG for selling a wantaway player for a record fee (perhaps at the Manager's instruction) and then the same people are getting on their backs because they tried to delay the transfer? What am I missing?
  11. I think that bits pretty clear
  12. There are tens of cameras at games these days and in the end of coverage BBC montage they had some video from a similar angle to the pic below. They'll have footage to see exactly what he mouthed. Whether or not that can be accurately interpreted by a lip reader, I don't know...
  13. Lots of rumours doing the rounds that he’s told us he doesn’t want to play for us again (deja vu?) and will not play on Friday
  14. And why the f*** did the kitman give him short socks and no shin pads? Proper threw me
  15. It will. He's mentally weak
  16. Butland is just as s*** as Ming based on this stat
  17. Yeah, it was just over an hour ago
  18. Leadership. We're devoid of it at present.
  19. Agree 100% with this Calvert-whatshisface knew exactly what he was doing. Watch that gif, he's not running in line with the ball. He's searching for Lovren. Waiting or the contact. Soon as he feels it, he goes down like a sack of spuds. Lovren's too thick to read it

  21. What date was it when Milner last completed a pass?
