  1. I'm not wrong, and you aren't either. In a question like this, you can't be wrong. It's all about opinions. I don't like defensive football, you do. Simple as that. A football match doesn't need to include superb goals. All that is needed for a game to be good is high tempo, excitement and two attack-minded teams. There hasn't been much of that this far, and I doubt that the last 2 games will be any different. The tempo issue might be because of the weather though. WC98 was way better, and even WC02 was better, although it was nothing special. Basketball is the worst sport on earth btw.
  2. Sorry, but I just can't find this sort of football entertaining. If I watch a game between two teams that I couldn't care less about, all I want to see is goals, dribblings and beautiful attacking play. There hasn't been much of that in this WC. The fact that I dislike all teams that reached the semis aren't helping either.
  3. Crap tournament. Defensive, negative football plagued by cheaters and bad refereeing. The only teams that constantly tried to play positive, good football were Germany and Spain, the rest can f*** off.
  4. Wouldn't surprise me if he retires after the next euros. Can't see him playing when he's 30 if he keeps getting these injuries.
  5. The argies played like crap. Just like in all their other games apart from the game against S&M.. The germans are the most exciting team left in the WC, I want them to win this now.
  6. I like him, and think that he's got the potential to be fantastic for us. If the choice is between Alves for something like £13m or Pennant for £3.5m I'd choose Pennant every time. His wages would probably only be like half of what Alves would have been as well. Good deal.

  8. Crespo got the goal, and I think that he just got a toe on it in front of Borgettis head. Difficult to see, but it looked like that from one or two angles.
  9. I hope that Mexico go on and win this game. Argentina are overhyped after 6 easy goals against a s*** team. They weren't anything special against Ivory Coast and Holland. Mexico haven't been good earlier in the tournament either, but I like 'em. Before the tournament I thought they would get to the semis at least.
  10. s*** decision. But Sweden were equally s*** during the first 25 minutes. Pathetic defending on both goals, Isaksson have kept us in this game.. There's still a chance though. The German defence is pretty s*** as well, and we have managed to create a few chances.
  11. Simunic deffo got three yellows. Swedish televesion just showed the three situations a number of times and there's no doubt that he was the one that got booked all three times.
  12. Why didn't I change channel until the 70th minute?! What a game, unbelievable. Poll might just be the worst ref ever, 3 yellows So pleased for Harry, he really deserved that..

  14. Wonderful second half. Wilhelmsson is the perfect sub really, and Allbäck was class as always. A well deserved draw, and with a bit of luck and a better game from Isaksson we would have won this. Great for us that Larsson got a goal in the end, we need him to step up to beat the germans.
  15. Fantastic half from Xabi, best player on the pitch. Think Luis has played well too, he wasted a few passes in the beginning but has improved. His movement off the ball is simply amazing. Spain need more variety in their attacks, right now almost everything goes through Xavi, and he isn't in his best form. Senna hasn't got into the game yet (he was great vs Ukraine), maybe they should get Iniesta on instead?
  16. England need to take Lampard off, bring Carrick on and unleash Gerrard. The only times they have created something it's been because of Stevie. I also think that if Rooney is properly fit he should replace Crouch asap.
  17. Had a feeling that it wouldn't work with both Adriano and Ronaldo on the pitch.. and it hasn't. Two fat, lazy strikers that don't contribute with much outside the box. It works much better when just one of them plays together with Robinho, who is a lot more mobile. Hopefully they'll bring him on soon.
  18. Disagree. He had two or three wreckless challenges that all were worthy of yellow cards, and he could well have been sent off. He also wasted a lot of passes, and didn't seem to find his place on the pitch. But he's clearly world class when it comes to finding space and scoring from midfield, and he did that very well today.
  19. Damn Cahill. He was absolute s*** apart from his goals, maybe he should have been sent off as well. But he's at the right place at the right time twice and scores. Cahill in a nutshell.
  20. I thought he was exceptional today. Best player on the pitch. Managed to get past the defenders time after time, and was the heart of everything that Holland created. Still a cheating t*** though.
  21. We really didn't deserve a win either. Lagerbäck picked the wrong team, and the players didn't do their job. Källström did more right in 10 mins than the rest of the team in 90 ffs. Right now I'm actually ashamed to be swedish.
  22. Disappointed with the first half. Very little movement, and we don't use the wings at all. It doesn't matter that our forwards are class when the midfield are playing like that. Svensson is s***, get Källström on asap.
  23. Well we should at least be able to get some goals against T&T. But Svensson is playing instead of Källström, so you never know.. I expect us to win by 3 or 4 goals though. Argentina vs Ivory Coast should be an interesting game. Hopefully we'll see some goals and some nice attacking play, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ends with a win for Ivory Coast. And I wonder how the hell BBC have come up with that team. It will most likely be: Shaaban - Alexandersson, Lucic, Mellberg, Edman - Wilhelmsson, Linderoth, Svensson, Ljungberg - Larsson, Ibrahimovic.
  24. Do you know how bad it is? Will he only miss one or two games or the whole WC?
  25. Yeah but we played a s*** load of games too. We scored 57 in the league, think we need to add at least 15 to that to really challenge (both Chelsea and United got 72 last season). Having said that, if we score 38 goals and win all our games 1-0 next season, I won't complain.
