I've been against sending him on loan earlier but based on his last few appearances and the fact that it looks like we have Sahin in the bag I've changed my mind. He needs regular game time to develop any further and he won't get it here.

He was decent when he first arrived in Bremen and his stats from last season are OK I guess, but he had a couple of crappy seasons in between and he's always looked way out of his depth when playing for the national team. Average player at best and should be behind Odemwingie, Long and Lukaku in the pecking order.

Owen is gone, RvP is still an Arsenal player, Berbatov will defo go if they do sign RVP and Kagawa is more of an attacking midfielder or winger. There's also the issue that Welbeck is a bit crap while Hernandez had a few injury concerns last year. Oh, and this new kid is only 18. But apart from all that I think you're spot on!

He needs to be taken out of the team ASAP. I love Kenny as much as anyone but his persistence with Downing is becoming really f***ing frustrating. -
