Looks to be a really astute signing, really impressed with him so far. Seems a really big character and already showing signs of the leadership and intelligence we need at the back. Loved his runs forward, his marshalling, his ability to head a ball, and his run and jump into Mignolet's arms at the final whistle. My man of the match.

What continues to concern me is the uncertainty on how we should go about closing out games. Tonight, it was as if our second goal came too soon and we were left for a long period not really knowing whether we should continue attacking as we were or sit back and deal with the inevitable pressure from the oppo. This indesiciveness seemed to leave us with a lack of control in the middle of the park as we ended up running into dead ends, giving the ball away cheaply which ultimately cost us a victory.

Second goal was coming for some time, it wasn't the first time they were queueing up on the edge of the D to have a dig.
