Didn't see that myself. I'd say lack of ability coupled with poor attitude added to Diouf's downfall at Liverpool.

After seeing some tweets from TAW last week about pre season in Boston, I'm wondering if there's any further details on dates? The future Mrs. Vlad JNR and I are planning on honeymooning in Boston around the last week of July/first week of August, and I'm sure there's nothing she'd like more than finding out Liverpool are playing at Fenway Park. Are there any dates you're working to, which I could consider when I look to book flights in the next couple of weeks?

One thing which did annoy me during the match yesterday, and having been reminded after listening to TAW was that when our third sub (Suarez) was coming on Agger already looked to be crocked and had been hobbling around for a couple of minutes. The substitution went ahead and Agger subsequently went off injured leaving us with 10 men for the last 15 minutes. It was pretty clear when the final sub was being made that Agger was struggling, who seemed to know himself that he wouldn't be able to carry on after reluctantly taking on the captains armband from Lucas. Not a massive issue but annoying that Agger didn't mention something, or get a message across to hang on with the sub until he was sure he could continue, and not let us go down to 10 men. The way he carried on made the injury look more significant than the touch of cramp Rodgers said it was after the game.

Agree with that. Cissokho certainly grew into the game, and think not having Moses in front of him for the second half helped with that. Couldn't fault Aspas for his work rate, and was hoping he'd stand out more against opposition from the lower leagues. Decent finish for the goal but too many times when he was looking to lay in off to someone else rather than having the quality and confidence to turn and have more of a go himself.

Moses put in the worst performance from a Liverpool player that I've seen for some time. Moses and Cissokho on completely different wavelengths in that first half.

Sterling - really stood out in both attack and also in his defensive duties, worked hard throughout... Great performance Henderson Gerrard

Got a nightmare journey back with an over night flight to heathrow then train back up. Haven't made any arrangements to go on Sunday. Had a really boss time, and will deffo be coming back sooner rather than later. The Old Barn is on Old Barn Road, near the junction of Breck Road and Oakfield Road. The King Harry, suggested by Wayne, is good too. That's where our Dads have been known to have a bevvie with strange sorts they have met on the internet (present company excepted).

Seems to be heading that way based on yesterday's performance. He certainly seemed more dynamic and mobile than he did for large parts of last season. I'm sure a full pre season and a bit more confidence in how far how far he can push himself has helped. In addition to his first half fist pumping he managed to squeeze in a double fist pump coupled with a scream of joy by the Main Stand after the penalty clearance.
