Yep, this feels a long way short of an Arsenal summer, or for that matter (to take a non Champs League example) aTottenham summer. This feels more like an Everton or a Newcastle summer. Hope to be proved wrong but I don't think Dempsey/Allen would change that either.

Really getting fed up with this, no he doesn't. He might not have been at the same level he was at previously but he was still great last season - some unbelievable saves, great distribution, great positioning/spped off his line in one-on-ones, pretty commanding in his box. Who could we reasonably get who'd be better than last years Reina??

Yep but it is starting to look like they've decided Barca are the way to go and so they're going through a list of top ex-Barca men. I'm undecided whether this is a good thing and whether we are fortunate there's one on our doorstep - completely ignorant in fact. Really I just wanted to bring Hank Scorpio in to the debate.
