    People would actually be happy and satisfied if only we bought the LB equivalent of Clyne, of course for a smallish fee and not from Southamton or any club of lower stature than ourselves. Again, scout or no scout, throw a name out that slightly matches the profile.

    IF we get wijnaldum and a decent LB our squad actually looks a good one, both first XI and depth.

    Wijnaldum to me is our Mkhitaryan. Can play anywhere in the CM/AM positions and have plenty of goals in him. If we could get a solid LB in now as well I'd be hugely optimistic ahead of this season.

    Seems the DM that were on Klopps shortlist like Krychowiak, maybe Kante and Dahoud were unattainable this summer so we focus on attacking players and let our crop of 9 CMs fight it out for the 5-6 who stays and do the CM job this season and try again for Dahoud, Neves or someone else next window. My guess of course.

    Leicester won the league with non-sexy players. Saw Newcastle quite often last season and thought Wijnaldum was immense, a faster more technical and skillful version of Milner.

    The new CM, IF we in fact are looking for one, gotta be something truly special. We already have Can, Hendo, Lucas, Milner, Allen, Grujic, Stewart, Chiri and Brannagan fighting for 2-3 places.
