    53m for Alonso and Luiz, glad Chavs not bern able to do better. Think we'll have a very good chance of beating them to top 4 if we can stay reasonably injury free.

    Although disappointed were not getting a new LB (and) DM , we've done well this window . 6 yr contract for Klopp, got rid of 90% deadwood and hopefully 1-2 more before midnight . Sold players for far higher prices than expected e.g 15 for Ibe and 32 for Benny. Did our ins before the market got super-inflated . 30m for Mane seems a real bargain not mentioning a combined 14m for Karius, Grujic, Klavan and Matip.

    Agree with that. Need a Can to steady the ship . Lucas as back-up but atm both are out injured so makes things worse. In a perfect world we would have replaced Lucas with someone better. But this is the 1st real transfer window for Klopp so this is going to be a process.

    A Gary Medel would be perfect and still amazed we let Wanyama join spurs for 12m. We Will hope to God we will have Mane and Can injury free.

    Having bought Karius, Grujic, Matip and Klavan for 15 m, I can understand why Klopp don't want to stump up 25m for Hector. Klopp fancies a bargain and also the lad doesn't seem to have the passion/drive to leave Cologne even at 26 years of age. Next on the list please.

    I truly hope Ings and Gomez don't leave on loan. Based on last season we need those players when injuries start coming. No chance Sturridge/Origi will be injury free and then Danny can make a huge difference. Gomez to me, once fit, is our first choice backup to both Clyne and Moreno , no way should he leave on loan.

    Still to leave? Benny, Lazar, Wisdom, Illori, Mario...someone else? If we could get Medel and de Sciglio/Hector...that would be near perfect to achieve in a non CL window.
