    If (when) Phil leaves could we be considering these?: Seri, lanzini, mahrez, insigne, meyer, Rakitic, asensio, gylfi, gomes, luan , kovacic ,Anderson , balde, inaki, carrasco, mertens, Nainggolan, Belotti, berardi, Brandt ,bellarabi, Berardi, Goretzka. Personally think Mahrez/Lanzini are the most likely ones even if none close to Coutinho but who would be? Finally, Koulibaly and VVD both look unlikely so What happened to our previous interest in Jonathan Tah or Laporte?

    Forsberg just voted as the best attacking midfielder in 2016 Bundesliga. His agent quoted in Swedish media in the same article to have scheduled meeting with RBL this weekend to decide players future.

    Brandt rumors from The Bild (Sport). He would be my ideal signing if it could happen. Fantastic talent for now and future.

    Id be over the moon if we could go from 8th to 4th. The key for us will be injuries. We're the best team in the league but don't have the squad of the other top 6. Add to that so far we've been very unlucky injury wise. It's actually a small miracle being 2nd. Another full summer,hopefully with another of his own 3-5 players in and I think we are in a tier of our own next season together with City and Chavs.

    Our squad is very sensitive to injuries. Unfortunately we have plenty of them upfront. At least 1 top tier player needed in January .

    Forsberg is a good all round offensive player. Great pro, very level headed, very focused on his football. Very versatile and can play in basically all attcking positions. He wouldn't be a starter (but who would) but easily fill in for Phil or in the new Lallana role.

    Seems like Pulisic wont happen, so wouldn't mind Forsberg/Yunus Mali as back up to Phil and Promes as back up to Mane.

    For 38m there probably is better value in the market than Draxler.

    The impressive thing is that I believe we have so far deserved every point so far. If anything we deserved more out of Burnley, Bournemouth , Scum, Spurs games......maybe Swansea we were a wee bit lucky...

    Fantastic season this, all Top 6 clubs have great teams compared to last year, and it's bound to go all the way to May 21 for the top 4 spots.

    We need a goal scoring pacy wide forward as priority one. Then another option at fullback and ideally someone to replace Sakho plus a quality back up for Midfield. In a perfect world we bought Alderweireld and Brandt. They are starting 11 quality plus can play in multiple positions.

    We've had Ings, Stu, Ojo, Phil, Lallana all out injured recently. No wonder we're struggling compared to the first 10 games.

    We learnt from the Burnley game and surely today was another valuable lesson. Top4 still realistic target.
