  1. Thanks for all the updates mate.
  2. I'd keep him for his pace and attitude alone. He proved last season he can be useful. He's just not to be relied on too often.
  3. Still a hint of him not settling in on a personal level. Happy player off the field often leads to a happy player on the pitch. Still can't see him going anywhere in the next few years.

I heard if facebook bullying but YNWA bullying takes the biscut That sure is a good analysis. People are very quick to forget the injuries and, the key times they happened at, let's not forget the bloody olympics to. He was a key contributor to our form in the later stages of last season and, he will be again. At least give the lad a run in the team and, a chance to get back in the grove. After some of the performances last night he is not someone to be overly concerned with at the moment, imo
  6. Like the sound bites, that last bit could be Rafa's talking mentalities, attitude and possibilities ...

  8. If we could land Cole we would seriously be able mount a challenge for the title. He would help us break down stubborn teams and would be very useful versus our main contenders, as a kinda of pocket picker. Sounds highly unlikely, however one of the only reliable sources on the web other than our own ES (Johnny H) said earlier back in the summer that he (Joe Cole) was definitely a target this summer... read into that as you will but he has been on the nail with Zenden, Pepe, Crouch and quite a few others over the last few summers. So don't rule it out.

Maybe mon doesn't know about Ricks tie(s) being jammed in the fax machine?
  10. I would also like to add my thanks. Some spurs fans even mentioned You (Elisha) on talksport this afternoon as an example of a reliable "internet insider" aka -itk-
  11. no, he is from Tallaght
  12. Still if you didn't know some history about our players way back then, I can see how someone would make that mistake, bless.
  13. Levy treats his own employees like pieces of s**** and then come out with this drivel. At least we're not the only club owned and run by t***s.
  14. Maybe he actually just wants to know what numbers Lawro wore? I seem to remember him wearing 4
  15. Story seems to be picking up pace. I have been thinking about the possibility of him partnering Torres for some months now and I can't think of a better partner and cover all in one, other than Keane. I really started to see something more in Robbie at a friendly Ireland v Brazil, and himself and Duff were so good, they looked liked they belonged on the Brazilian side. Ever since he has come on leaps and bounds and the only neg for me would be his lack of pace, But his skill and his heart kinda make up for it.

  17. Must be the reason he now works for NOW with links to the s*n on his article on the web.
  18. I live in the Hague and often visit Noordwijk near where he hails from and he's a hero there. I hope you are right about him but I just don't know if we'll ever see the real DK with Rafa. He seems to see something different in him to all of his other coaches.
  19. FYDS- Why is it that we have been subjected to this horse trading, I say poor negotiation. If you haven't sussed out what and who you dealing with you will fail in any negotiation, one way or the other. That's a failings of the negotiator, and for it to be a common occurrence is down right incompetence.
  20. We all know what assumtions bring. even when we get them we over pay 90% of the time.
  21. These chaps wouldn't usually get involved in day-to-day transactions and should have the sense to understand they know sweet fa about the english/european football transfers system. Come on, do they even understand the rules of "soccer"? They must have been to all of 4-5 games at anfield in total. So why would they think they could match Rafa skills and experience in a market they have demonstrated they know little about. They pay him a lot of money to carry out his duties which to-date have included transfer dealings. My own business sense would tell me to leave it to the professionals whose salaries I pay. They called him a genius and spoke of their roles being as guardians of the club, well whatever the rift and between whoever should never have escalated to this ridiculous situation. Sort it out and move. As successful businessmen and guardians of our club they should know better. I'm gutted that as guardians they may witness a very ugly, un-Liverpool way making our voices heard. Their jobs are to protect the club from such incidents and they are failing rapidly in my book. Fook me like it has been the headline sports story on CNN all week. What exactly happened with regard to Simao and Alaves? Not sure if your serious or not.. On the basis that you are, he couldn't close off either deal and nearly blew the Kuyt one, two summers in a row. He has been responsible for a lot of missed targets and lengthy drawn out negotiations resulting in nothing while fergie and arsne wrap up their deals with haste, time and time again. Look at our treatment of DIC and, on that I do know a little info. I'm reliably informed rick made a complete clown of himself during his dealings with DIC and was un-contactable for days when DIC were trying to close off the deal. Went into hiding was the exact term used. Amateur like was another. All n all though I gutted that this has turned us into a circus, losing Rafa would really cap it off.
  22. Like foster ..... who has disappeared, or parry who they have stated is in charge of buying and selling players. Does that not make him their "money man" in relation to this business interest. I think your comments are naive. parry has proven over the years he is not up to the job "money man". Simao, Alaves, etc. It seems pretty obvious that is what the whole row is over and while I don't agree with communicating through the media, I do believe Rafa is spot on with his concerns. I don't have a problem with you :handshake:
  23. Like rick has such as fine history of doing.
  24. Tired of having no title aspirations after new year. Ideally we'd still be in with a shout up to easter. -Finish no more than 9 pts behind champions -Not bothered about where in the top 4 based on the above being achieved -League cup final or FA cup semi -Have to turn our european cup season around, qtrs would be good. Failing that Semis/final of Uefa. I'd really love to see progress in the league more than anything. Finish 2nd within 5 pts and I'll be c**k -a- hoop and very excited about next season, for tangible reasons.
  25. Thats the one :handshake: come out come out wherever you are.... Bob
