It wasn't intended to do us a disservice at all. We've been really good, but we're afforded the luxury of playing badly with a load of players looking shattered because we played really well earlier in the season AND because Arsenal didn't. Or did and didn't convert it into points. If they were three points behind us, we'd quite rightly be very nervous right now.

This is entirely subjective though. Just for example, if Tsimikas had played against Fulham, would he have engaged in that double act of bumbaclartery that Robbo did for their second goal? Because if not, we likely would have been at least a point better off. It's fine margins all over the shop. Slot has done brilliantly, but we definitely could have done better if we'd managed the squad better and played players who weren't blowing out of their a*** with nearly a quarter of the league season to go. We've done as well as we needed to, but we'd be having a different conversation if City or Arsenal had got their s*** together.

At least Real have Trent coming in to help tighten them up at the back.

Not sure that a strong league position is an argument for not strengthening. We're absolutely floundering on the pitch at the moment and we've seen the impetus that some new energy like Diaz, Gakpo, or those two players that Macca mentioned can have. It can be a pick me up to the players around them.

Although Burnley have been pretty incredible defensively this season.

And they still had Busquets running around kicking the s*** out of everyone.

We've just had a load of players completely run out of motivation/energy/momentum (delete as applicable). Dom, Mo, Virgil, Ibou, Robbo, and Jota are all stumbling towards the finish line and for some reason Slot isn't even trying letting the likes of Harvey, Endo, Quansah, Tsimikas, Chiesa etc have a go, and if we're running this on merit, Harvey and Chiesa have both shown more in their little sub cameos than Dom or Mo for example have in their last 3 or 4 games. I'd be tempted to go Ali, Bradley, Quansah, Virgil, Tsimkas, Elliot, Gravenberch, MacAllister, Gakpo, Chiesa, Salah against West Ham, and Virg only gets in because there isn't anyone else. There's no point in playing Darwin, he adds nothing.

Here's some positivity. Before this game, Arsenal needed 1.5 points per game to beat us. Now they need 1.58. So it's not a total disaster!

It's not misdirected frustration though, he doesn't look like he gives a s*** and does everything wrong.

I'm just fixated on how bloody amazing the let off must have been for City fans when Aguero scored that goal for them. I want that feeling. Darwin...well I'd just like him to achieve something before he f***s off. Realistically he doesn't deserve it, but him scoring it would be the most unexpected and therefore add to the let off. Obviously it would be better if Gomez scores it, but he's probably injured for that game and I want it to be someone mad. Like Endo maybe or Chiesa. Maybe Chiesa. He's basically our Vladimir Smicer, right?

I'd like us to win it by beating Arsenal at Anfield with a 96th minute Darwin winner please.
