TBH don't care if he is a crap international. He never gave up the chase, which means heart. He never pased poorly, which means he's got skill. He only really had 2 chances, which means Lumpard really is shyte by the amount of chances he's missed so far (what is it now? 466 or something). As far as I could see he was defo one of the better Dutch players and would fit in with Rafa's work ethic and team comes first code. Mind Rooney didn't get a hat trick today, but I always said he was shyte.

Can't believe the abuse the gy is getting. In the whole game he only really had one chance if you could call it that. The goalie wason him as quick as the ball was and nothing came of it, s*** happens. He looked strong, fit (as in never gave up and was willing to harry the defence), and I've no doubts he'll be a major star for us...................................mind Fowler was shyte for England and look how poor he's been for us and lets not mention Barnes.

He supports Liverpool, anyone thinking he won't be joining is living in lala land. Would any of us turn Rafa down? Know I wouldn't even if someone did offer 20 grand more. As for his personality, good. Bout time we had a nutter who can actually play compared to nutters like Collymore, Diouf, Cisse who either can't or can't be assed.
