Gray is a total f***ing runt. Trying to cause controversy where there is none. Said he'd love to see Stevie G tell Rafa he doesn't want to play on the right and that Finnan isn't that good.

My team would be: Reina Finnan, Carra, Agger, Aurelio Pennant, Gerrard, Sissoko, Gonzales Kuyt, Bellamy Subs: Dudek, Hyypia, Garcia, Crouch, Alonso Not the strongest defensively on the left, but Chelsea play narrow anyway. That team has speed, width and fight.

We need to at least hold the Russians to a draw this sunday or no it's not over, but christ we're making it extremely hard for ourselves and I doubt we'll pull it back. What is it they say winning breeds confidence? Fortunately if there is a manager out there who can turn things around Rafa is the man.

Is it the rotation policy or the fact that we've 6 new players who don't know the rest of the team and what is expected of them yet? Personally I think Rafa is rotating too much to early. But then he knows more than I do so hopefully humble pie for me soon.

Or do people think that goals from the two strikers plus Gerrard will be enough? No, we need goals from all over the park. Defenders as well as midfielders should be scoring a few goals a season. If we got 20/30 from both defenders and midfielders over the whole season we'd be well on our way to challenging. Seems though these days Liverpool midfielders (bar Gerrard and Garcia) don't score goals anymore. How many did Didi get in all his games?

I'm sort of guessing they'd have have won those last 2 games if needed. I still think we can win it, but we got to pull our fingers out this weekend againt the Ruskies. -
Why's so many people think last night was our hardest away game? I think we got a harder one yet in going to Turkey.

Not so sure. I'd have thought it was best to rotate when you've points in the bag and new players are use to the club. Rotate now and we could be playing catch up all season.

I?m certainly never going to claim i know more than Rafa, I?m just commentating on something that worry?s me. Yesterday I?d have started with Agger and Sami (due to Carra being injured). I?d have started with Bellamy and Kuyt. Alonso would be benched (he's not hit form yet) and Pennant would play right with Momo and Gerrard in the middle. That would be my team for as many matches as possible (with Agger looking to replace Sami as soon as possible and a rejuvenated Alonso back as soon as poss.

Who said anything about getting rid of Rafa. It's early season, keep as many players as possible so we've got a settled first 11. Then rotate as the players get into the season. We've 6 new players of which 5 are coming in and out of the team with hardly a chance to get to know each other.

Not sure if Carra should've played. He's been injured and Agger has looked sharp.

He's already proved he's got the class though and besides he'll be rotated like most of our squad. I'm guessing only Reina, Gerrard, Alonso, Finnan, Carragher and Sissoko are actually guaranteed a starting place
