  1. Patient? The guy called me disingenuous Sammy. That’s out of order. I think my response was measured. I should have told him to f*** off. Most of you know I alwaya ever write what I genuinely mean. You can disagree and think it’s wrong and that I’m silly, I don’t care, we can discuss things, but he can’t throw around words like disingenuous as if he’s the one who decides whether or not I mean what I write. That’s out of order. I’m not going to be shamed for rating Lucho. I like our players.
  2. Hopefully that facist Demiral c*** is banned from the rest of this tournament after yesterday.
  3. I never retreated from anything. You can keep writing it but it’s not true. I’ve literally held my point from the off. And I don’t agree with you. They aren’t comparable situations. The two teams play completely different brands of football. Coincidentally Diaz was more direct in the beginning when we still had Bobby and played the more direct style of football, before he was asked to be our main outlet in the buildup phase in this recent pivot to become a more controlling team in possession, but you already know this.
  4. I said Luiz was world class. When the talk came to Mane I said the situations weren’t comparable which they aren’t. The rest is just you guys having a laugh. This is about Diaz. Keep it about Diaz.
  5. You don’t think it warrants an answer when someone calls you disingenuous for having a different opinion than yourself? I liked it. He said we don’t want a left winger and that we don’t want to sell Diaz. I agree.
  6. I have said what I meant. I’ve maintained this position. Diaz is world class. We play differently now. The roles aren’t comparable. Calling other people disingenuous because they stick to their position is just weird. You disagree. No one cares. Move on.
  7. I did say Diaz is world class. I stand by that. I also stand by the statement that Mane and Diaz’ situations weren’t comparable. That’s it really. Get on with it.
  8. Really? It’s absurd to have an opinion that’s not in line with the majority? Is that what you are trying to tell me? That’s highly offensive and ridiculous. You must be so proud of yourself. I never said those things. I said the situations weren’t comparable. Which they aren’t because we are talking about two teams with differences in personel, quality and style. Also I don’t care. I rate Lucho. You don’t. Get over it.
  9. It’s fairly simple. I’m saying I prefer Diaz to Gordon.
  10. I’m not. I’m saying these aren’t comparable scenarios. He was. I’m not saying he wasn’t. Yeah and that’s my prerogative
  11. They had Bobby up top to do the build up. Flat three midfield behind them doing loads of hard yards and two very aggresive fullbacks. Hardly a comparable scenario to what we have now. They were all about the press and speed. We are all about control now.
  12. That’s not Gordon either. His game is about getting open and finishing and not about the build up. If that’s what you want I’m sure Lucho could accomodate you if given an opportunity. You got to seperate the player from the instructions given. A better comparable would be Mo since he’s our winger/striker. But even Mo takes part in our build up. Everyone does that here. They have to since we mostly play against low blocks.
  13. How so? For me they are completely different types. One is a striker/winger and the other one is a dribbling winger. Comparing them makes little sense. If anything Gordon fits a counter attacking team better than Lucho while Lucho fits better into a team that dominates possession. These huge spaces Gordon thrives on when Newcastle break won’t be available at Liverpool. Maybe away to City but other than that we are almost always the team with most possession trying to open low blocks.
  14. The opposite is equally true
  15. I’m with you. I see the potential in Gordon he’s a great talebt but Lucho is a world class player and the better one out of those two imo at this point in time. Now tell me we can get Kvara or Williams for Lucho and I’d be much more interested. I found a site with a decent amount of stats and basically Gordon was more prolific while Diaz was much more involved in the build up and in creating moves. Impossible to compare since they have very different roles. Think Gordon took corners too which skewed the assist total his way. https://one-versus-one.com/en/compare-players/anthony-gordon-vs-Luis-Diaz/pro-stats#pro-stats
  16. Absolutely. But, you can have thicker lines.
  17. I don’t see any issues with discussing the impact technology has on our game. I’m literally just asking here if anyone has heard about this before because I thought it’s was the perfect system.
  18. It was an interview on Danish radio this morning. I don’t have a link to share. My first thought was getthef***outofhere Hjulmand so naturally I came here to ask the titans if they’ve ever heard anything about this inaccuracy before. Sounds like sour grapes to me but you never know.
  19. Impressive technique
  20. Interesting tidbit from Danish coach. Talking about how there’s an inaccuracy of up to four centimeters on that semi-automated offside system. Anyone heard this before?
  21. I thought he was going to Brentford?
