What really got to me (except our lack of creativity) was their fans. Absoulte w*****s. That poor b****ard Beto was booed every time he tried something and they booed him off the pitch as well. What kind of support is that? F****s.

You're right, Stevie. It p***ed me off how the Benfica players constantly dived when they got to a good freekick position. And the ref fell for it more than once. I'm afraid it's gonna get worse at Anfield, where Benfica will do anything to ruin the game.

Think you are wrong here. Look at it again. Sami is positioning himself far too deep. Luisao starts his run long before the free kick is taken. If Sami had positioned himself better, Luisao would have been offside by a mile.

Not too worried about the actual outcome, but the way the Benfica players dives, I'm worried we'll get a bunch of cards against us - which will hamper us later on.

Think he did OK in the first half, but in the second half he lost it completely. Told my mate Sir Whiskeybreath most have had a word with him during halftime.

I'd go for Jason Roberts & Defoe. A great combination of strength, speed and finesse.

Surprised no-one has mentioned Wigan's Roberts. I really rate him, big, strong, fast, knows how to use his size, has a cracking shot. Pair him with a poacher and we'll have a winner.

Have we scored at all this season from corners? From the top of my mind, I can't remember one goal scored from corners this season. Even though Steve G. is a great player, he should be right outside the box and take care of any clearances coming his way. Does he deside to take'em himself, or is it Rafa who desides who to take the corners?

Or you could take his sulking as him being very competitive and wanting to play. I think players get far too much cack from looking disappointed when they are being substituted. Me, I actually want them to be disappointed. It shows that they have the will to win, to succeed.

Anyway, United were there for the taking today. Except our defense, I think we played pretty poor all over the pitch today. I see most blame Cisse, but I can't say he got much support (in fact, none of the strikers got support today). The ball more often than not was hoofed and landed with snow on it. Not easy to make anything out of that kind of "support" against Druggo Ferdinand & Co.

Think you are far too harsh on the kid. When his knees held up, his movement was pretty good - imo.

Don't want Mellor to leave, but I wish him all the best at Wigan if true. Probably a great move for him... Unfortunately, now we'll have one more former striker who will score against us.
