  1. My top 5, not solely based on skill but on how much joy I got by watching them play: Kenny Dalglish - top dog, numero uno Ian Callaghan - my first hero when I was veeeeeeery young Emlyn Hughes - for the love of the club. Best captain we've ever had John Barnes - Unbelievable skilled Peter Beardsley - Left out of most top 5, but I REALLY wanted to be the player he was --- Graeme Souness - Based on skill and impact, he should be on every top 5 list
  2. Think he'll start Bellamy to give him another chance to score, and Crouch.
  3. I just wish he would stop taking our corner kicks. How many has he taken and how many have we scored on? 1.000.000 to 0? He should be outside the box, picking up debris and returning it with warp speed towards the net.
  4. Two words for us today: We sucked! End of.
  5. Well, the fat s*** helped us qualify for the CL and scored a cracker against a******, you fool.
  6. I hoped we would keep Mellor and that he could stay fit and show how good he is. Really like the boy, great goal scorer, has the right mentality (I will fight for my place) and still very young. Still think he could develop into a terrific striker. Oh, well. All the best to you, Neil.
  7. Ian Callaghan What a player, what a man!
  8. The season is over. We'll never catch Chelsea now....
  9. Thank you, very much
  10. What is it? Gotta learn it!!!
  11. Let me just add: Momo is The MAN!!! What a player What a workrate What cruncing tackles He's gotta be called one of two things (if not both): 1. The Boss 2. The Duracell Kid When I'm coming over for the Newcastle game, I'm gonna get me a new jersey with #22 on the back.
  12. That would be Vegard Heggem. Unfortunately, he was cursed with too many injuries and had to quit playing footy.
  13. From my telly, it didn't sound as a regular CL night. For you who was there, was it THAT silent in the stands last night?
  14. Excellent Now you just need to come up with a song and presto...
  15. 1 Fowler - A REAL legend. Doesn't have to play a second. Still love him. 2 Carrager - 100% redbred - Score some goals this year, will yah. 3 Momo - Mr. Duracell. Keeps on going, going, going. Love to watch his energy. 4 Alonso - 100% pure class, both on and off the pitch. Coming to England has raised his level from fantastic to fantastic+one mean b....stard. He's gonna hurt you, both with passes and with tackles. 5 Gerrard For his ability and for showing what LFC is all about.
  16. Still gives me goosebumps. And, thats why we should keep the boy wonder, if his knees are OK again.
  17. IF he's getting playtime, I'm shure he's gonna be absolutely fantastic for France. He's hungry to prove himself and show the world that he actually is a top rate striker. I've actually put down some money for him being the world cup top scorer. And, just to justify my stupidness - I got some pretty nice money back from betting on Baros in the Euro Champ.
  18. And his header so Stevie could score THAT goal against Olympiacos. I was a big Mellor fan. Wish him all the best.
  19. You forgot Torres.
  20. Good read that, fyds. Brought back some old, feel-good memories. Emlyn is my all time greatest player - because, as you said, he hated loosing and the never say die approach to the game.
  21. One thing I loved about the ref last night was that he didn't give one single free kick to "I've made diving into art DECO". I hate the little f****er (Deco, that is). Great football player, but the worst diver of them all.
  22. Sunny is a good lad. Used to be a member of LFC supporters club, Scandinavian Branch. Even think the supporter club sent him his LFC fanzine to OT. Started to come back after a year, though.
  23. 30.7 goals a season for the last seven seasons - thats how bad he is
  24. OK. Thanks.
