This season we have a fully fit Cissé and a from the off Morientes, soon to be joined by Crouch and probably Owen - it's only two games into a new season and although we havent rattled the net much, we have certainly made tons of chances. Give this team - and it is significantly different from last season in many ways (and Zenden) achance to gel and fire as Rafa gets them into wholly his way of doing things.

Honest Vish - I don't care where they come from, as long as they go in. I do believe Rafa feels you should not and must not simply rely on strikers to get the goals - they should come from all over the park, often with the strikers setting them up. This does not preclude strikers getting a decent haul themselves, though naturally it's less important which individual gets the goals than it is that the team gets the goals. I think the return of Owen would be great on both counts - he can make as well as score - but then again, I believe and can obviously point to their history elsewhere that so can Cissé, Morientes and yes, Crouch. I think two games into a new season is way too soon to be casting serious doubts about our forwards.
