I disagree. He may be better in certain elements than some of them, but overall he'd be no improvement. Riise offers more going forward and scores viatl goals. His link up play is also better and of course his free kicks. Bridge is a better tackler than Riise maybe, but Djimi and Warnock are better tacklers than Bridge. His positional sense is better than Warnock's but at best on a par with Djimi's. Bridge has had achilles, groin and now ankle problems since he's been at Chelsea - though as you say, for about two seasons at least he was an ever-present at Southampton. Basically he's not really an improvement on what we have.
