  2. Can't believe they con't cover Swipe's Sam - I love the Dr Johnson one, but Swipe's is the best by a mile.
  3. Yes - always the same when on Ing-ur-land duty
  4. Yes - that's the real story behind the non-headlines - Hodgson is to LFC what the North Sea is to the North Yorkshire coast.
  5. I could imagine DH or Cobs saying we should give him more time - see if he sells everyone else first.
  6. Yes - sums it up nicely. He has to go and frankly should have never have been appointed in a million years (or the 35 he's so keen on telling us about).

You do realise that a 'John' twitter account could be the price you pay for all this

  9. Ok, so I take it the temporary 'get rid of the crap t***' hiatus some were experiencing of late has now ended. Good. Now again - get rid of the crap t***.
  10. The number of posts I've read on here and elsewhere over the years about how 'Keane could really do a job for us' would indicate loads thought it would be a good idea.

  12. I can just about tolerate that. One home win against the first good if slightly understrength opposition since Arsenal does not even come close to getting him off the hook. Even then after yesterdays game, he said 'I never doubted my abilities, by confidence was never dented' STOP IT!!!
  13. Lucas Torres Dirk Special mentiom for Kelly who had Woy in his ear all game telling him to get back.
  14. Pretty much all of them, isn't it?
  15. Seems it may have been taken out of context, with consequent cheques for m' learned friends according to some posters. Although we are 1000% in a better place for progress etc than we were a month ago, I doubt we're well padded enough for José's brand of doing things.
  16. Always thought that was very, very hard on Jol - but then our situation is different, and Roy's propensity for putting both feet, arms, a*** and head in his mouth would preclude telling him such a thing in advance for me. Let's just hope it's days rather than weeks.
  17. yes - I think you've called that right. Hodgson has certainly moved far more sharply toward the exit than previously just by this one appointment.. Using the same line of thinking, our next coach/manager will not be British - get ready for media (and some fans) faux outrage and meltdown.
  18. Hicks and Gillett have gone. That's good enough for me for now
  19. Re Purslow - you're right, re Kenny - it's what Tomkins and Broadman have said in the past and you don't get it, all I'm saying is this is a structure Rafa is used to - our problem was we didn't have a structure, just in fighting between owners and board - whoever was in situ at the time.
  20. You have to reasonably conclude though that part of that was because of the lack of focus control and the influence of Cecil - it seems Rafa wanted Kenny to do this kind of role but Cecil didn't.
  21. Great description
  22. Gary mac was a short term freebie - different kind of thing.
  23. You would think that would end the SWP, Carlton Cole *anyone from fulham* and in the summer, finally, the Trezeguet rumours forerver. Sadly, for Knox, big Kev will now never swing an elbow in a Liverpool shirt either.
  24. makes it easier to move him out without overly exciting the wrath of the media 'we're using a whole new system of the sort more often employed in European football, and so some changes were ineb=vitable for this model to take on the shape...' etc
