I'm sure you didn't really mean it, but signing VVD isn't taking our GA from 42 to 15. Chelsea, as champs conceded 33. Getting down to 30 would be a big improvement, especially if some other signings boost the goals for. O
I'll put you down for an agree, even if sort of But this is what I was trying to say. Let's say VVD reduces our goals conceded (I realize it's hard to quantify as being due to him, but houmour me). But using the money more spread over what you are suggesting it may be a bigger net benefit.
It matters to me, because I think of the overall state of LFC, including fiscally. Even £50 mil is a bit mental for a defender that realistically isn't going to improve that 16 goal difference all on his own. Rather see the money spread around more effectively. We could use a midfielder that can actually defend for a start. And fullbacks that stop crosses coming in would be handy. Maybe CB wouldn't be as dire with those two elements?
Are you implying it's not my money? (Sorry, I don't buy that argument) No CB is worth that kind of money that's all I'm saying.....unless he can do the whole back four on his own Our goal difference last year was +36, while the champions were +52. is VVD going to make that difference up on his own?
I'm sure any statement would have been run by the clubs lawyers before being issued. To avoid any further backlash. Yep. I was wondering if it was that too.
Two many overhyped players out of the French league. League 1 is poor, different kettle of fish doing it in a top league. Different if you were talking half the price.
Yes, Man City have a massive revenue stream from shirt sales alone. Every City you go to all over the World you see 100s if not 1,000s of their shirts Must do right?
