Everyone seems to realize it's a sham, so why should it be so hard to prove? If someone doesn't then FFP has no teeth and will fail. Over 95% clubs should want it to work. Every club should want to live within their revenue (even the presently doped ones). Part of building a successful club should include building your revenues (the Mancs expanded their stadium while we sat on our hands) and overall management all together. It's those things that lead to success on the pitch. A North American style salary cap will only line owners pockets and create a meh league. Sure you'll get more clubs winning, but they rarely stick with the rare exception. Anyone, without looking it up, name the Baseball, NFL, NBA or NHL champions from 4/5 years ago? Flat to what? The Manchester clubs have to spend what Wigan and Reading spend? The Glazers would be ecstatic.
