It isn't being a hypocrite if you admit that you were wrong as well - which in a round about way you have kind of done by referring to 'singing songs that I shouldn't'. I don't have a problem with your position on this really as I understand why people snapped the other week, but as I've said (many times) in this thread, they would argue that their Hillsborough/Heysel songs were in some ways a 'snap' after years of Munich taunts - which I suppose just means the cycle goes on and more and more people get drawn back in. My issue is more with those who actually find the stuff funny (and there are plenty, sadly), or go to a match with a premeditated desire to sing s**** like that, or chuck terms like 'the Munichs'/'Murderers' around on a casual basis. That is the kind of attitude that worries me more and that could lead to a dangerous escalation. Instead of joining in and waiting to see where it all leads, perhaps it is better that we try and stamp it out now.
