It will be interesting to see how the Costa story develops in the next while. I assume he'll end up back at Atletico as part of some deal for Griezmann but you have to start thinking its his relationship with Chelsea/Mourinho rather than any lack of ability that is affecting his performance. He should be perfectly suited to the English league

If you get a chance, have a listen to a recent interview he did with Graham Hunter. It will clear up any doubts anyone could ever have about what Liverpool means to him and what he gave to the club. For me, he will always be the standard by which you judge every other midfielder and he's second only to Kenny as the greatest player to play for Liverpool in my 40+ years of watching football.

Is there a more inarticulate and inane football panel than Rio Ferdinand, Emmanuel Petit and Ian Wright? Owen Hargraves (was he the co-commentator?) was watching a completely different game than the one I was. In his deluded world Arsenal were competitive (with the exception of the 'defence') and not a set of traffic cones that Munich ran / passed around at will.
