I've had 12 plus hours to mull this over. Yesterday, I said we were piss poor over 120 minutes. I take that back. We were poor for 75 minutes and we had enough chances to win it in the other 45 when we had them reeling, but not on the ropes.
We have to learn to take our chances in these tight games against classy, non PL opponents. We've had tough draws in the past and overcome the opponents by taking the few chances we got.
PSG were bloody good last night. I've watched them play many times in the CL, and I have never seen that amount of desire, passion and willingness to give everything for the team. No big names, no show ponies, just 17 players committed to the cause.
Our manager has his work cut out for him on Sunday. Probably no Trent, probably no Gakpo (whoever said he was ok to play last night needs a good talking to) and, if it was up to me, no Nunez or Jota. However, we need strikers, so one of those 2 has to start.
Should be fun before the 17 days with no real football.
