  1. A few weeks ago, Speedy was playing in one of our games, and took the corners. His delivery was very good indeed, and all his corners caused panic in our opponents half. Thought that he would have taken the corners last night, but not complaining about Bellamy's delivery either. He seems to be able to weight his crosses pretty well. It wouldn't even surprise me to see Bellamy play some games on the left or right......it is bound to happen on the odd occassion!
  2. Yeah, I wanted to pull my hair out for a number of reasons last night, but the camera work did my head in. It was woeful. Players in possession were constantly off screen, and the lack of camera and angles made a poor game look even worse
  3. Yeah, you're right.....we have enough players on strike at the moment
  4. Are we able to vote for the little kid who scored a hat trick at the anfield road end prior to kick off, and for whom we all cheered? He provided us with the most entertainment the entire day!

  6. Was on holiday in Portugal last week, and got to the beach at 9.30am.... I lay down under an umbrella wih the book, and finished it by 5pm the same day My missus then read it the next day. I never realised how close he came to never having a career, and what a role Steve Heighway played in his development. All in all it is a great book, and it certainly taught me a few things about him and his mates at LFC.... Also nice that he cleared him wearing the Bluenose strip up, as well as all the other kits he collected. Was also rather surprised of how he spoke of the likes of Scholes, G Neville, and Beckham, so highly. It's also nice to see some sportsmanship such as Terry and Henry contacting him before and after the Champs League final to wish him luck and congratulate him. All in all an excellent read
  7. This is indeed good news.....I am particularly p'd off about the shirt costing a mere $50!!! How I wish we paid American prices for most things in the UK!

  9. Doesn't he only have one year left on his contract??? He is also 29 years old....also if he really wants to leave, don't think that there is too much that Milan can do, so unless he joins he the chavs I don't think his transfer fee would be anywhere as much as we may think.
  10. I also hope that your hunch is right. Also hope that he remembers how brilliant we (the supporters) are.....and that he remembers half time on 25th May - We were dead and buried but our supporters were sensational. Surely he'd love to play for a club like ours!

    New Kit

My insider on this subject (he works closely with Adidas), and was the first person on any LFC website to break the news Adidas taking over, has seen the kit. The colours mentioned are indeed accurate (i.e Red, Yellow and Black (the away Champs League kit)). Basically the kit is almost identical to the current Bayern Munich kit - just swap the colours!

    Cardiff

Be really careful if you intend buying a ticket outside the ground mate.....for obvious reasons. Thankfully my tickets arrived intact....
  13. Only been living in the UK for 5 years. My first FA Cup game was the 2001 Final. Saturday will be the first FA Cup Semi that I will be attending.
  14. Was with a scum supporter last night - he was telling me that Tier 3 is way way high = recommend you take some oxygen with you mate
  15. I'm in the North Stand, tier 1.....apparently decent seats.

  17. he commentators for the scum game were truelly awful and the picture quality was pretty poor. Hopefully there is an improvement on both sides on Wednes morning.
  18. No way I'll be able to wait to watch it delayed....my mates going to the game will no doubt be texting me throughout! Onlt solution is to have a late night out and wake up at 8.40am
  19. I work in the city. Decent pub called the Fine Line right by Monument Tube 910-15 min walk to London Bridge). I'll be heading to London Bridge straight after work (around 6.30), and intend arriving at the Valley around 7.30ish Hopefully it will be an easier exit than we had to endure at the Chavs on the weekend.

    Morientes

Still not totally made up on Mori, his good days are excellent, and his bad days awful, but his bad days outweigh his good days. I think their are two big problems right now.... 1. Mori is great in the air, but we don't play to this advantage. 2. I think he is struggling with the state of some of the pitches right now. In addition to the above, he seems to get injured just as he hits some form, and takes a few weeks to regain the momentum. I'd defo keep him on the basis that I think he'll offer us much more in Europe.
  21. Since settling and pledging his future to us he has been sensational - surely he is the best midfielder in his position in the world and the probably the most versatile player in the world....At this stage there is no other player in the world that I'd rather have, and if England do well in the world cup, surely he will be one of the strong condidates for the honour next year
  22. Similar thread already on some other LFC forums.....sent my complaint earlier this morning, and have also sent a mass email to my mates in order to create as much of an uproar as possible! Disgusting that such a programme is still aired!
