I'd agree with you on pretty much every other striker than Morientes If you look at his career stats, he has scored more than half his goals with his head. Earlier in his career he scored 4 goals in a match and ALL of them were with his head. If we don't play to his strengths- and with Zenden and Garcia we don't seem to be- he won't score as many. It's as simple as that. On top of this, if he isn't scoring HALF as many goals as he can, his confidence will go down and goals he SHOULD be scoring with his feet he maybe will not. He is also being told in most games to play in a way that he hasn't done for a couple of years, as a main striker -not a second striker, as he did with Monaco- and this too will take some getting used to. Saying all that, I still don't think he'll score any more than 10 goals in the League this season at best, but if he can get as many assists as his previous record suggests, he'll be well worth his place.
