  1. Some g******* on Twitter. Of course.
  2. Thought he'd be nailed on for Bayern if i'm honest, next summer. The whole Pere/Pep thing, and them needing a world class striker. Or Madrid, aye. Lets just enjoy him this season, unless something miraculous happens he won't stick around.
  3. You're definitely going to be wrong then.

  5. It would take a special flavour of wrong to be plagiarising football analysis. Don't think Rorys in that category. After a job as an opposition scout, clearly...!
  6. Mignolet will never be as good with his feet as Reina. Mignolet will never be as good at 'rushing out' and sniffing the danger/through balls as Reina. Mignolet won't concede as many soft goals as Reina. Mignolet will be as good as, or better, shot stopper as Reina. In my opinion. Loved Pepe but Mignolet has proven to be a more than adequate replacement. Once we've got his distribution to an acceptable level no-one will* have any gripes. EDIT : * should

  8. Can't believe you show your face around here after the Aspas debacle. How dare you be positive and wrong!
  9. Think we should pack in the loan signings to be honest. They are 'low risk and low cost' but it's the opportunity cost of not getting someone decent in, who is wholly committed, which is the key drawback. Everton are the exception, rather than the rule, with loanees. You don't see any of the other 'big' sides loaning players in. We need to stop being imbecilic in the transfer market. That Alberto and Aspas as a priority stuff was baffling, as was bringing in both Ilori and Sakho with no CBs going out, with absolutely nothing done to the midfield. I'd just like to see us be sensible.

  11. Haha - spot on. Hate that.
  12. Think it's clear from the evidence so far that Godgers won't play Agger and Sakho together. Having said that, Sakho is first choice for me right now.
  13. Yep - and who says CBs have to be permanently 'marking' players anyway? Always made me laugh that line about GloJo.
  14. Absolutely bob on that man.
  15. I'm not even sure what Sterling and Moses are for. We say they're fine as "squad players", but they're the kind of players who come in at home against a League Two side in the cup and we end up losing because they can't keep the ball. They don't give us anything.
  16. We couldn't start attacks because the midfield never had the ball facing the Hull goal.
  17. That was absolutely appalling. But it's that easy to play against us. If you press us and pack the midfield, we won't win. It's the silver bullet against Rodgers' philosphy. Stop us playing out of the back, and we've got f***ing nothing. Absolutely nothing. Rodgers' whole style is predicated on the ability to play from the back, to "transition" through the "phases" and all that drivel. Pack the midfield, stay organised, and press - and you will stop us. We really are that one dimensional. We're just lucky other teams haven't clocked onto it. Southampton did, Arsenal did, Everton did. If the rest of them do we'll fall down the table - and fast.
  18. As is the team with Moses and Sterling.
  19. Really? But this is very unfortunate timing. Was a huge month already, now made even tougher.
  20. Gives them hope though doesn't it, seeing two of our best players out. Still.
  21. Very true.
  22. Squad.
  23. Slightly strange to have him out somewhere while Alberto sits off doing f*** all, but yeah, it'll be good for his development.
  24. Rumours Coutinho is out too.
