Abramovich is slipperier than a slippery thing and thus far has managed avoid prosecution in Russia this in part is due to his wealth as it helps when you can pay people off or by brokering deals with the government.... Sibneft and its subsidiary Runicom have for years laundered money/avoided taxes its been well documented.
Like I said I don't know when this started only that its current. Their subsidiary Dubai International Capital was in talks with manu prior to the Glazer take over according to reports on t'internet, if true, that would suggest that they have been looking to get involved with footy I guess...
OK, maybe we are getting somewhere....I don't know when the first "contact" was made just that its current (like now) so given your November date it would suggest that talks have been going on for some time now...
