You can add Pepe to the list. Alves is a good player, however, Rafa made it pretty clear that he was unwilling to match Sevilla's asking price. The same with Simao and rightly so £13-14m for a player who doesn't even make the Portugal starting line up on a regular basis, besides he ain't that good anyway. Figo was never that keen on us less so when Inter came in for him and as far as I'm aware a fee was agreed with Real it was personal terms that posed the biggest problem. As for Kuyt the transfer window is still open ffs...
