If rightsholders offered free or reasonably priced football... then there would be no demand for such streams - yet they would rather spend much money, time and effort demonising & attempting to close such streams via threats - whilst intentionally pricing out certain demographics of fans (as the Premier League has since its inception). Re Highlights... in recent years 'rightsholders' have clamped down on unofficial match highlights and full match replays. Often this is because of the 'story' (or agenda) proposed and elevated by those match rightsholders. And that it takes a certain amount of time to edit highlights to match 'the story' they wish to create / promote. They certainly don't want unofficial videos or competition from overseas (who actually show incidents without bias - and various replays and angles) competing with them or the media story they are focusing on - or rival getting ahead of them. Anyway, the official highlights and goals - from the UK rightsholders that is Sky (who admit to pressing their commentators and pundits to find and create 'the story' / aka the agenda)... 3 minute Sky highlights...
