    Signing Isak would satisfy the teenage part of my brain that only cares about signing the best players in the world, but Cunha is probably the wiser choice in terms of what Slot needs in a striker and what works best for the club financially. I think if Newcastle get CL Isak will stay anyway.

    Yeah my overarching feeling is relief that we’ll (almost certainly) get to see the trophy lifted in the ground. I’ve had to give up a lot of tickets so far this season but have got the run in from the derby onwards bagsied. I should also be living back up north in about two weeks so doubly excited.

    Report just says this “It wasn't the handshake itself that caused the sending off but rather what Slot said during the confrontation.
