Spot on. He had one half-decent season for BBurn in his whole career. He's an average striker with an attitude problem. Not good enough for LFC and never was. There's a reason why he's played for Norwich, Blackburn, Newcastle and Celtic. £9m - I'd bite their hands off.

Is the pitch going to get enough light so it's in decent nick so that we can actually play some decent football on it, rather than the pitch being bloody awful as it is in a lot of these new stadia?

Balague mentioned on Saturday night on Sky that Poulson had been approached just 3 hours before the game with a 10m Euro offer from an unnamed club still in the last 16 of the CL. He speculated as to who it could be : BAyern (if Man U were signing Hargreaves) and Man U, is they hadn't managed to to buy Hargeaves. Either way, he said Poulson had decided to stay.

It's the best we currently have, but I agree with you entirely that Crouch should play against Barca - they really won't know how to handle him. I have a funny feeling he'll score in the Nou Camp.

I think we we get a real goalscoer to play up front with him, and a winger who can create and chip in with a few goals, we'll have a real shot at the title next season. But we need a true goalscorer to play alongside him.

Somebody needs to stick their studs all the way through Ronaldo and put him out for a good few weeks. If that happens, we have a real chance becuase he's created so much for them this season - they look so ordinary without him (even with Rooney & Saha). If he was taken out, I really think they would struggle for a few weeks, and that may be enough to give us a sniff. But we've got to hope maybe one of the smaller clubs in the FA Cup are a bit rash and hurt him with a bad challenge to hve any hope.

We bought the flaming wingers - we should play them both, to get them match fit and settled in, and get the forwards used to the service And stop playing Zenden in CM! HE's not a CMer, and he's not a CMer of sufficient quality to play for LFC.
