I think Nunez’s best (and currently most realistic) position is coming on as sub with 15-20 mins left, staying in the box and freestyling as we get the ball in to the box any old way in that situation against a low block, the best way is to build up play to around 30 yards out, then suddenly flick the ball up with one touch then volley it high in to the air with the second touch, so that it’s landing between the penalty spot and the edge of the box and there’s time for runners to go in without being offside impossible to clear the ball properly and Nunez will thrive in his oxymoronically-styled role as creator of chaos within a rigid tactical playbook setting
